Chlorine leaked at South Korea's Hanwha Chemical Ulsan Plant

At 10 o'clock on the morning of May 17, local time, a chlorine leak occurred at Hanwha Chemical's No. 2 plant in Luchung-dong, South District, Ulsan City, South Korea. 

According to the Yonhap News Agency, these workers had symptoms such as difficulty breathing, nausea and runny nose. A worker said that the smell of leaked gas was intense and people could not open their eyes.

The police are still investigating the cause of the accident. The initial suspicion was that the accident occurred when the chlorine was transferred from the tanker to the tank.
