Jul 31, 2018

Sodium Percarbonate is used as a rinsing agent and a reducing color developing agent in the textile industry, and can also be used as a disinfectant, a deodorant, a milk preservative, and the like. Sodium percarbonate has the advantages of non-toxic, odorless, non-polluting, etc. It has the characteristics of bleaching, sterilization, washing and good water solubility.

Sodium percarbonate is usually used as an auxiliary agent for washing powder, aerobic bleaching, and can effectively increase dissolved oxygen in fish pond management. In commercial use, it is usually wrapped with substances such as sulfate and silicate. The coated sodium percarbonate is used to increase the storage stability requirements of the detergent formulation. The more traditional laundry bleaching aid is sodium perborate. The advantage of sodium percarbonate is that the stability of storage and the compatibility with other detergent ingredients are good. This is unparalleled and irreplaceable. In terms of chemical structure, their essential difference is that sodium percarbonate is the nature of the adduct, while sodium perborate is a peptide-bonded product.
